In addition to helping horses in need, the heart of Agape Acres is to meet people where they are and to encourage and inspire the best in each person mentally, physically, and spiritually!
We do this through several services that we offer such as mentoring, equine assisted activities for special needs individuals, and community outreach with our Mobile Minis.

Mentoring

Agape Acres serves children and teens that are vulnerable, struggling, or who may have experienced trauma. One consistent factor that can help these youth grow into healthy adults is spending time with a caring mentor. A mentor can meet them where they are, encourage them on their journey to becoming their best, and help them realize they are a unique and important person that God created with a purpose! At Agape Acres, trained mentors use equine assisted activities to further develop life skills while giving encouragement and helping participants grow in mind, body, and spirit.
One on one sessions with a trained mentor and a rescue horse provide vulnerable or struggling youth with positivity and encouragement while working on chosen goals.

Equine Assisted Activites for Special Needs Individuals
A PATH Intl. (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) certified therapeutic riding instructor teaches and guides participants through various unmounted and mounted activities as they are able.

MOBILE Minis
We are excited to share our amazing miniature horses outside of the farm environment! Our sweet, good mannered minis inspire knowledge, joy, and wonder. By taking them on the road, we are able to share them with individuals in our community that may otherwise be unable to experience the love and joy these small horses have to offer.
